Fairland Garden Site
In an effort to avert such a situation and to foster a culture of waste minimization, Pikitup has converted its garden sites into integrated waste management sites that residents can use to dispose of all kinds of waste as opposed to garden waste only, as was the case before.

Skip Bin
In an effort to avert illegal dumping, Pikitup offers a skip bin hire service up to a maximum of seven days for domestic residents and businesses. The service is offered for rubble removal, garden waste and other household waste not collectable by the normal 240lt bins.
Stop Illegal Dumping
Do not put garden waste with household refuse. The City has 41 garden waste centres where you can take your green waste Each time you see someone dumping their waste, take aphoto of their vehicle registration and send this via WhatsApp to 082 779 1361.
Free Bulky Waste Service
Pikitup, the Waste Management Company of the City of Johannesburg provides a free bulky waste service to collect unwanted waste from households (e.g. old mattresses, old fridges, old furniture, etc) in an effort to deal with illegal dumping
across the City.
Stolen Bin
Report your bin as stolen at a police station nearest to your place of
residence, obtain a case number and have your municipal account ready before calling Pikitup’s Call Centre to make an application for a binreplacement. This process applies to domestic as well as business customers.
Landfill Site
Landfill Application forms can be obtainable from all 4 Pikitup landfill sites, Robinson Deep, Marie Louise, Goudkoppies andEnnerdale.
