MMC de Jager to visit schoolchildren to advocate for environmental preservation

Tomorrow, Wednesday, 7 August 2019, the MMC for Environment and Infrastructure Services, Cllr Nico de Jager will address school children at the Betrams Primary School in Johannesburg about the importance of preserving and keeping the City clean.
Pikitup, the City’s waste management entity, has consistently maintained that it is a collective responsibility to ensure that Johannesburg attains the highest cleanliness standards possible. It is against this backdrop that MMC De Jager will be addressing school children to inculcate a culture of taking care of the environment.
