Pikitup would like to assure residents that its refuse collection services will continue as normal on the public holiday on 16 June 2009 (Youth Day).
Residents whose waste is collected on Tuesdays are reminded to put their bins out for collection by 07h00.
All garden sites will remain open on the above public holiday for the disposal of garden refuse and recyclable items. All Johannesburg landfill sites, apart from the Ennerdale Landfill Site, will be open during the holiday. The Panorama Composting Plant will also be open on this day.
