New Waste Collection Technology

A FRONT END, BULK CONTAINER LOADING SYSTEM

Pikitup is proud to present a new bulk waste collection service to its customers. In line with the company’s vision “to be the pioneering and environmentally focussed waste management company in Africa’’, this system replaces the old bulk containers presently being used for compactable waste.

The new system involves the placement of 5.5m3 bulk steel containers on site, which will be serviced by Pikitup front-end loader vehicles. The container is re-designed with a lid to limit odours from escaping and other problems. Customers are alerted to the fact that non-compactable materials may damage the hydraulic mechanism of the unit.
