PIKITUP SERVICE DELIVERY CHALLENGES |

Disruptions have been experienced in the collection of refuse over the past few weeks. These disruptions are due to temporary infrastructural problems relating to vehicles, as the current fleet management contract has come to an end. A new fleet contract is being put in place. The disruption could affect residents for the next few weeks, however, Pikitup will be working extra hourswhich includes weekends to complete all its weekly rounds. All backlogs and excess waste will be collected as well. Pikitup requests that should resident’s refuse not be collected on the scheduled day; their bin(s) should be left outside for collection on the following day. Management apologises for any inconvenience caused and promises the residents that the situation will be normalised as soon as possible.
