Separation at Source - Recycling Project
| The Waterval Region (Johannesburg) has been selected to participate in the Separation at Source recycling pilot project. Participation by all businesses and homes in the area is necessary in order to validate the study for future implementation and a possible roll out across the whole of Johannesburg. Pikitup staff have already visited some homes and businesses and will be coming to your neighbourhood soon. They will be delivering the new orange Ronnie bags, clear heavy-duty bags, a brand new black bin with a green lid and a sticker for your existing black bin to enable you to identify the items to be placed in relevant bags for successful recycling. We are here to help so please feel free to ask any questions you may have about this project. |
