PIKITUP TO COLLECT REFUSE ON 16 JUNE

The Waste Management Company of the City of Johannesburg, Pikitup today announced that all its services (household refuse collection, recyclables, bulk, dailies and landfill sites) will be in full swing on Youth Day Public Holiday (16 June). Residents whose collection day falls on Friday, 16 June 2017 need to put out their waste as normal.

We urge all residents of the City to become active participants in preserving and protecting the environment by applying the basic principles of waste management: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle when disposing waste.

The City of Johannesburg is your HOME! Don’t trash it. Recycle, Re-use and Reduce.
